Default All sport 5" lift for workhorse problems.

I recently bought the Allsport 5" lift kit for my Workhorse. I'm not seeing blocks, or longer shackles. What I am seeing is these goofy looking leaf spring shackles/ u-bolt contraptions. Has anyone installed this kit or have any idea of where to go with this? Here is a link to the item I bought which shows the parts in question in the middle of the photo.

I didn't receive the longer shackles in the photo, so I'll be calling them tomorrow, but I've sever seen anything like what did show up. Any thoughts?

Here is the link to the same lift on everything carts site. They give better pictures and probably instructions. Looks simple enough.

Hereis a pic that might help , the triangle looking pieces will move the leaf spring from the bottom of the axle to the top of the axle , this is a Jake's leveling kit , my Workhorse already had the drop down axle in it from the factory

Talked to the owner at Allsports. Wrong kit for my cart. My ST Sport already comes with 3" of lift, so I've spent a lot of money for the wrong parts. Basically I'm going to use new front axle which gives me 2-3 more inches, make shackles for the rear to level it and scrap/sell the rest. Pretty frustrated, but part of life.

Got my shackles built for the rear! I increased the distance from holes from 3" to 8"! Still need to install add-a-leaf to rear and Napa has got my new shocks coming! I'm only worried that 26" tires aren't going to fit.

How much total lift did you get? I have 26" tires with 10"s of lift and they fit without any problems. I think they would fit with about 7-8"s of lift.

I put the allsport high five lift on two workhorses. Two reasons, one I did not like the idea of long shackles or that goofy contraption for the front of the rear leafs. I also talked to a few people that have used that workhorse lift and were having swaying issues which is what concerned me about that lift. So I ordered the high five for a standard TXT and cut the plates off the bottom of the axle and used blocks and put the axle under the leafs. Ill try and remember to take pics of my brothers tomorrow of how I set his up

I guess the answer is about 5". My Worhorse is an ST sport, which comes stock with 3" of lift in the front by not having a straight axle, and comes with 3" in the rear by having a drop axle done. Stock my workhorse runs 22" tires. After getting the new front axle that basically moved the spring mounts to the top of the axle and had new risers for shock mounts, that added 2" to the front. I made shackles for the back with added roughly 4-5 more inches in back. It sits a little nose down at this point, but should work well with weight in the back.

If they dont fit with 5"s, on an my limo cart I added 2" blocks between the frame and the front leaf springs that connect to the frame. It didn't affect the ride much and give me the extra clearance I needed. I will try to get a pic of it for you.

Hi, Blake80 is my brother and one of the Workhorses he is refering to is mine. I bought the Allsport Hi-Five lift for a TXT and we installed it on my workhorse. The Hi-Five kit uses slightly longer shackles and lift blocks to raise the rear. You will need to cut off or shorten the nipples on top of the axle housing for the blocks to fit. The front is lifted using a new axle(weldment) assembly that moves the front tires forward a little. I installed 26x9.50x10 super swamper vampires on 10" ITP wheels. It has a good stance and could even go 1" taller on the tires, but I bought my tires from Interco from their blemished tires section for $22 each. I hope this helps, if you have more questions let me or Blake80 know and we'll try to help.
