Default Well I should have listen to you guys about the lift the first time!

Well after 2 months of this lift I HATE it. It is the Chesiest thing I have ever seen. http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/lifte...questions.html It has bent way to many times to count and now the tires rub at every turn. So I have a a 4 inch list and wanted to go about 5 inches. My price rang is 100-200 tops,
Any suggestions would be much appreciated
Nick

if you bent the cheap lift - then you need the Jakes for $279 and $22 shipping

or the long travel $675 shipping $71

What lift do you have? I just started installing the cheaper $159 G-9 Lift kit from Cartpartsplus and am pretty disappointed in it. Not everything is lined up right and it places the shocks at an angle in the mount causing unnecessary strain on the ends. Pretty lame. Good luck with yours.

Hmmm....Buying lift kits at 'walmart' prices and you are disapointed in the engineering?......what's next? Telling us the Geo Metro doesn't have German Engineering?
It is not Cartpartsplus fault if it isn't an outstanding product for 1/2 the cost of a real one. Perhaps they shouldn't try to cater to this market?

I don't think it is too much to ask for the holes to line up and for the designer to actually take into account the arms/shocks being moved forward. Just because it costs less than the others does not mean it can't work properly.
Also, at no time did I indicate it was Cartpartsplus fault. Although, they may want to reconsider carrying this product.

...and I seem to have found out who the resident smartass is!
kidding! You are correct...Spend the money and buy the good stuff the first time.

Sorry late at night and rushing. I meant it to say " So I have a 4 inch lift right now and I wanted to go 5 inch this time." Sorry for the mistake

the first one is the same travel as stock. the long travel is MUCH better with double the travel. if you can afford it i would heartily recommend the long travel.

Well because the long travel is out of the question right now the Regular will have to work. Will this one hold up better than the one I had before? What is diffrent with this one and the one I have now?
Thanks
Nick
