Default What would be my best bet?

I am looking to lift my 1998 club car ds. I want to do a 6" A-arm lift kit not spindle. Have heard bad things about spindle lifts breaking king pins and price is not that different.

I want 10" black steelies to give it that beefy look.

I have come down to 2 different options. First would be an Allsports 6" a-arm kit with 3 different tire options $715.00 shipped.

Second option is a unknown brand 6" a-arm kit with 1 tire option and in the picture shows that it I includes new leaf springs(not mentioned in the description.) $699.99 shipped.

I wish some kits included bigger tires like a 23" but that's not a big deal. So where I am getting at is to me it seems spending the extra $15 is the better choice, seeing I am getting an allsports product. Or if you guys have differed options that you would recommend I'm all for suggestions.

JUST NO LONG TRAVEL KITS!

I just put an All Sports 6" sport lift on my '87 DS. Real easy install. Here's a pic showing the front end. Got this and the wheels/tires from site sponsor Trademark Carts.

You do a package deal or buy wheels/tires separate from the lift?

Go with the All Sport, I have the cheapo 6" a-arm lift kit on mine and it is just that, cheap made, although it works good enough for now. Like the tubular a-arms on the All-sport lift.

When it comes to the black steel wheels, shopping around will definately save you some money. I bought a set of 10" plain steel wheels (no tires) for about $125 including black lug nuts and center caps. For that price you could maybe pick your own tires and buy them at the same place and have them mount them for you. Just a thought.

Yea I could go that route. Trademark carts has some really good deals on lift/wheel/tire packages.

I bought my wheels and tires from them. Great company with awesome service. One peice of advice though. If you go with one of their tire and wheel kits, I would stay away from tires that are wider than 10 inches. Mine are 11 inches wide and occasionally rub the inner fenders at the rear when I turn.

Jason,

I have used them on several accounts and they are a great company to work with!! I appreciate the info about tire width on these carts. That will save me some headaches.

Do you have any pictures of your cart? Trying go get an idea of what it's gonna look like. It will be a few weeks before I order if I do.

I am buying batteries for it tomorrow, then I just ordered new exhaust heads and cam for my SRT-8. So spending needs to slow down. Lol

i put the allsport sport 6" a-arm lift on my dads cc ds. it is very very simple and the performance is outstanding. it only took me about 3 hours to install the whole kit and i spent some time just looking. the only thing with that kit is that you will have to adjust the camber. the a-arms use heim joints, so before you use the locktight on the bolts that bolt the arms to the spindle, adjust the camber to where you want it. its a great lift and i will use it again no problem.
