Default Removing the split roll pin, Yam g16 Spindle

New here, So Hi everyone
Picked up a nice g16 off of craigslist last week. Ordered a 6" Jakes lift Kit. I am gonna try to put it on tonight. To avoid running into a hassel how do you remove those split roll pins that hold in the spindle shafts. It looks like I could just drive them out with a punch.

That is how it's done but there is actually one smaller inside the outer one. Easier to drive them out one at a time inside first.

When I first looked at it , I thought it looked like 2 pins, then I thought that it was 1 pin rolled up. Anyway, I guess it would be a good idea to stop at the parts store on the way home and buy a punch set. Thanks!!

Anything else I need to watch out for during surgery? I've looked everything over(I even read the instructions) it all seems pretty straight forward and simple.

On those roll pins, pick up a can of PB Blaster and spray them and wait an hour or so. They'll come out much easier!

"Never seize" king pins and roll pins for reassembly.
