Lift Kit Question
I am working on restoring/upgrading a 1986 CC DS for my family and me to use when camping. I am currently in the process of adding a rear seat to make room for all of us. The tires need to be replaced and I trying to decide if a lift kit is needed or not. From my understanding I will need to beef up the rear suspension at some point. I plan on using the cart mostly on road with very litte off-roading. Would a lift kit be needed to beef up the suspension or should I go with low profile tires and beef up the suspension another way?

Re: Lift Kit Question
If you are not going off road, save your money, unless you want the look of big tires and the lift. You can get hd leaf springs for that. I'm not a CC owner so not sure. Try doing a search on "club car leaf springs" and see what comes up. The lift kits wont give you more carrying capacity for the rear passengers. The lift kit will give you additional height to fit bigger tires. You also could try air bags or air shocks?

Re: Lift Kit Question
Another option might be coil over shocks. Could provide the needed support for the added load on the back seat.
