2001 CC Carryall 1 lift

Hey all,
I've bought my son a Carryall to drive around, but it's stock height and he wants it lifted.I've made several E-Z-GO lifts, but this Club Car is a totally different beast in the front. I've shopped around but fill I can make a lift for way less than the kits offered. I don't want to do a Z-lift because I don't want to cut the frame. Besides the cart has a full Curtis Cab enclosure and I don't know if it'll be to top heavy causing me to have to remove it. I really like the lift that CRASH12888 has made, has anyone ever tried one?
