Just wonderin if anyone has had any success with a custom top for the Jake's Upper Roll Cage? I am trying to find some good ideas for the best way to cover it.

Find a local company that makes awnings.

We bent this cage up in the garage so it's completely custom and I took it to a auto upholster and got my top made since these pic's they put a back window on it also. Sort of dark hope you can see it.

See if you can find an upholstery shop like Lurch did and ask if they can make you a top that loops around the top cage bars and attaches with velcro. If possible use sunbrella material for durability. I have seen countless sunbrella boast awnings and they take UV punishment very well.

Here is a picture of a custom cart we built with a bikini top on our EZGO upper brush guard. We had a local upholsterer make it.

I've been thinkin about getting a piece of diamond plate to screw down to the top of the cage. Then maybe a rack on top of that so I can tie down ski gear & a surf board to the roof.

I have a vinyl bikini top from the previous owner. No idea how old it is. But it has a couple of missing snaps & is not secure on the trailer at freeway speeds.

That would probably work out great. Just use some rubber grommets in between the top and the cage otherwise it will rattle. That would also give you the ability to screw the rack to it.

Exactly. Xtreme Cartz makes a single rail rack for his cages that caught my eye. I figured a DP roof with a similar rack would be super useful & only increase the total height of the cart a couple inches.
