Default 98 TXT Build

Well finally aquired a starting point for my project.Its a 98 TXT parts cart i bought off a member on here and a 05 rear axle off ebay.Time to put my new Lincoln 180 mig to the test.

Plans are....
-48V
-New Controller
-New Motor
-HD Solenoid
-HD F/R Switch
-Front and Rear 4 Link Suspension
-Fox air shocks
-26"tires on 14"wheels

Looks like you are going to have a great Before/After shot project,,,, at least you have a good before shot,,,,, look like a LOT of work ahead of you.

Looks like you have a pretty torn down cart there. Is the rear axle missing on this thing, or is there just no rear wheels?

Yep....its pretty tore down....gonna strip it down to the frame today.It didnt have a rear axle when I picked it up but I have one for it.Im probably gonna pretty much use that cart for measurements and mock up purposes.I will probably end up building my own frame.

Oh and thats not my barn.....I have a 24x30 shop which is full so I just ordered a 28x14 just for the golf cart and four wheeler

Yep....just got done taking it down to the frame....looks like alot of rust....I guess I will just build my own....Steel Supply is loving me this month.....lol

Ya this is common with most ezgo's,,,,umm depending on where you live. Most times it is just surface, but there are times it goes much deeper.

I never saw one yet that couldn't be fixed more economically that it could be duplicated

Its rusted all the way through in the front,I like building stuff so I figured what the hell it will keep me busy.....ill post some pics this afternoon if you really wanna see a old rusty frame.
