Default Master cylinder suggestions?

I getting ready to fab up my ATV suspension for the front end of my G1. I have acquired the front end suspension, hubs, rotors, calipers, brake lines, and handlebar master cylinder. What can I use for a master cylinder to tie into my brake pedal? Sand rail cylinder? Also, how do I know what size fittings will work with the fittings on the ATV lines? This is a 97 Yamaha Warrior braking system.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I was hoping to mount it down behind the brake pedal for a direct link, but without a master cylinder I can't take the measurements or come up with a mounting idea. So I need some suggestions on what master cyl to use first, any ideas? Any experience?

you can take the mastercylinder off the handle bars(atv) and place on some round tubing on the frame and run a actuator bar to it from your pedal.

It's funny that you suggested that, I actually was thinking the same thing! I just thought that would be too "hillbilly" of me? Guess not LOL.

That is what I have seen done; they mount the handlebar cylinder under the floor or behind the cowl and make a linkage for it. Some fiddle with the length of the handle to get the leverage right so the disks do not grossly over/under power the cart brakes. I would guess a setup is posted in here someplace, maybe the BB section.

Thanks for the suggestions, maybe that's the easiest way to go. Doesn't sound too difficult and sounds like I can reuse the stock hydraulic lines. Maybe a threaded rod between the pedal and the cylinder handle with an adjustment there.

Take a look here at the Wilwood website. I certain you can find one that will work here. The Master Cylander on my ST4x4 came with a Wilwood..
