Need help with custom fab A-Arm lift
Hello All,
I have a '99 club car gas that i recently retrieved from storage. In college my friends and I had Frankenstein'd together what you might call a long travel front end but never finished it. Now that I have shop space again, my plan is to custom fabricate a new front A arm system. All I have to go on is pictures from this site and the Strech Plastics install guide for their A arm. Any tips, tricks or design info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks PICTURES TO FOLLOW |

Re: Need help with custom fab A-Arm lift
Pics would help. I am also grafting atv double a arms onto my cart. I have the a arms and brakes but haven't started working on it yet, but I am searching for ideas. I have searched just about everything from dune buggy sites to golf carts to atv's and rhinos. Most custom jobs have heim joints and a rack and pinion setup of some sort. Geometry is the key to spot on handling, so it's always best to build it as a "copy" of something else that you know works, or to make it "adjustable".
