Default Lift question

I have a 2005 Precedent that is currently stock with 18 x 8 1/2 x 8 tires and wheels. If I were to put a 6" spindle lift, 22 x 10 x 10 tires I would actually gain 8" of lift correct? I still have the roof on it and would like it to still fit in the building.

Most of the math says yes (if current tires are 18" diameter), best to measure current garage door and cart before ordering. I'm on a mid setting with my Jake's and I just fit with about 2" to spare on mine.

sometimes lifts and tires though do not measure up. my 25 inch tires are 24" tall. I have had lifts that didn't quite live up to their billing either.

also if you are going with only a 22 inch tire, you may be able to get away with a 4" lift. I think a 4" supersport lift kit will take a 22 inch tire. i have 25"rated(24" actual) on m y 7.5 lift. i am thinking of going down to a 6" because there is plenty of room for them.

I have 9 1/2 inches of lift and 24" titans that measure a little over 25" and it still fits in my garage... Barely. You'll be fine with 6" and 22"s
