homemade liftkit advice
Hello. I am 14. My friend and I bought a golfcart for around 800 and its in great condition but I was wondering if I could get help on a homemade lift kit. I've heard its been done. I've got quite an extensive tool chest. I don't have a welder. And also any good ideas to customize it?

We bought a yamha older version. Not sure what year but its got no top a bench seat not to much known. We keep it at my beach house to use and all of them are lifted so we wanted to do ours. We saved for a since the beggining of summer for it so yeah.

Re: homemade liftkit advice
Do you have any pics ? Search for lift in Gas Yamaha and lifted carts . A homemade lift usually takes welding though.

Likely you got an older Yami and this is not going to be easy to 'Block Lift' or such..... |

Re: homemade liftkit advice
Welcome to BGW guys!!!
Can you post a picture of your cart? If you guys could save just a little bit more you could get an "econo lift" that would allow you to run the most popular 22" tires on it. Most lift kits will not only lift but also move the front forward for tire clearance. Try our sponsors below, some offer BGW members discounts or other deals. http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/site-sponsors.php |
