04 txt going up

By the picture it doesn't look that far off, maybe 1/2"? Is that photo with the cart on the ground? If not try putting it on the ground then snug the bolt up. If it is on the ground then you might need to put some weight on it and snug it up. If you put the 3 leaf springs on it, it's going to take some weight to get it to rest down. Those springs are pretty stiff and once they break in they will settle a little bit. Try bouncing up and down on the back a few times or load it up.

Not all lifts come with or require shock extensions. Try to Pull your shock down, (extend the shock) or put the nut on it and tighten it up.

Not for sure, I may be able to find out, no it was done by a painter who did the flames and what not. Did you get your shock problem worked out?
