First cart and first post. What I have is a stock, 1997 EZGO electric white TXT. I will be using this cart on the beach, so it must go over one sand dune and then level, loose-to-packed sand. What I am looking to do is:

1. Lift kit
2. 10 or 12 inch wheels, tires for sand
3. Rear seat added (needs to haul four adults)
4. Stereo
5. Paint strategy-white has to go

What I need suggestions on are:
1. Do I need to upgrade motor/solenoid?
2. Under carriage protection in a saltwater environment?
3. Better to re-paint or replace body?
4. What else am I missing?

Four adults and a seat kit up a fair incline made of sand is going to be a heck of a chore for a stock driveline. I would guess that you'll need a 48v conversion and a fair amount of amps to get that job done.

For tunes, I love having a separate 12v power source. I personally use a generic automotive head unit and underdash speaker pods. My sound system is leftover crap that was taking up space in the garage, and it sounds great! I am a huge fan of those pods!

White is the perfect base to have if you're going to shoot a custom paint job. Go crazy and post pics!

I don't know that there's much you can do for the undercarriage aside from a liberal dose of undercoating.

A wider tire with low air pressure to give more footprint in the sand, or else you will be digging her out. Check out the 22x10x10 inch RHOX Arrows.
