I thought I would do an update...About a month ago,we found a campground (Wildwood/Medina KOA,Medina,NY) to go to that welcomes carts,so I decided to redo Kims G16 as a "Rolling Buisiness-Card" for my parts and repair work.I started 2-weeks ago,on Sunday,Installed the light-kit,and removed the body to go out for paint. In the week following,I cleaned and re-brushed the starter/gen,rewired/repaired wiring,I found all of the floor-bracing and crossmembers were shot,so I replaced everything with new steel.Installed a "security-system" to kill the cart when parked.Since the lift-kit was the original design, and had some Sub-Par brackets, that were test-mules,I built an entire new kit for it,5",with 6"-rear for the rear-seat.I swapped the 21/10.5-8 Duros for a set of 22/11-8 Trail-Pros that I had, along with a set of SS wheel-covers.My Dad and a friend handled the body/paint-work(Geo-Storm Yellow, left over from my Bike 20yrs ago,and still good!).I painted all the plastic flat-black,cleaned all the trim, and shot some vinyl-paint on the white seats until I can get some covers.I got the rear-seat from CraigTn,my Buddy helped reupholster the cushions tonite.Tomorrow it goes on the trailer, and we'll see how it goes.Never camped there, but heard a lot of good things.
