Electric UTV options?
I'm a new member here, and new to the cart world.
I know they are not for everyone, but I plan on giving an electric UTV a try. I borrowed a buddy's lifted golf cart for the trip to the ranch last week and it handled everything I needed it to. Now I know this is really only a golf cart with fancy wheels and ATV tires. The suspension on it sucks and the windshield was squeaking like Mickey Mouse on crack. Does any manufacturer make a 2WD cart with a good suspension on it? I don't need one that is 4WD for my ranch and I wouldn't spend $10 - 15,000 on a "golf cart". For that kind of money I can get a nice Jeep or Toyota. So who makes a good 2WD off road UTV? Thanks, Tim |

Re: Electric UTV options?
I can build you one for $5k! LOL! Really, it sounds like a nice G16 with long travel kit, dump bed, lift and tires would get the job done for you. Look around you'll likely find some for sale already done up. As far as UTV's, you'll be hard pressed to find anything new for less than $7k and then you're talking about a crappy Gator type rig. I'd rather have the golf cart. Just my 2 cents.
