Harbor freight Hitch Install
I have been checking out hitches for my ezgo with rear seat kit and step. Cheapest I found was on eBay around $50 free shipping. Just picked up a harbor frieght 3500 pound bumper hitch for under twenty. Got it mounted and it works great! Use your 20% coupon to save more.

Re: Harbor freight Hitch Install
The step bumper receiver? That's what I installed on my cart too! I usually have the clevis insert shoved in it, but I also cobbled an elevated hitch for pulling modified 2 wheel hand trucks around.

Re: Harbor freight Hitch Install
Here is a link to the part. It is on sale for 17.99 right now. Get your 20% off and your in less than $15.00. The way I installed it I needed a 1 inch spacer to compensate for the 1 inch tubing that makes the frame of the step. It will definitely hold everything I will use it for.

Re: Harbor freight Hitch Install
Here are the pics. I used a piece of 1" by 3" tubing as a spacer. You can see it in the third picture. The setup up is equally as good if not better than some of the ebay versions. I used 1/2 bolts, probably overkill if you wanted to use something a little smaller. I pulled my 5x10 utility trailer around the yard works great!

Re: Harbor freight Hitch Install
You could recess it a little more. I wanted to use the tube that was part of the seat frame.

Re: Harbor freight Hitch Install
I like it. You could even do a hitch-mounted/removable grab bar for the back seat riders with that setup.
