Default How Much Will I Need To Invest

To take a stock cart like a newer Ezgo and lift it about 6", install some nice meats and get it geared up for some mild off roading (nothing radical)?

Also factor in any mods I will need to extend battery life if its possible.

I'm just looking for a guestimate so I know how much to spend on the cart itself vs buying one thats already built. Not concerned about cosmetics at this time, I can do that during the winter as more funds are available. .

Thanks
Cuz

Lift, wheels, tires, min. 400A controller, and #4cables = approx. $1200-$1500

i think you can get out a little cheaper than that, you can get lift, wheels, and tires for 400 to 450, you can send your controller off and have it built up to 400 amp for 250 and #4 wires may run you 80 to 100 bucks.. price depends alot on the wheel you want also, they have some aluminum wheels now that will run 200 bucks a piece

duckdown, he said he wants a 6" lift so that rules out that cheap 4" block lift. And I wouldn't do any "mild" off-roading with that lift anyway...

i bent a axle on the drop axle lifts one time so i dont fool with them at all no more, just my opinion
