Wheel Offsets
Just installed a Jakes long travel kit on my 07 PDS. The rear wheels are almost 3" narrower than the fronts. Should I only use a set of 2" spacers or has anyone used a 2" and 1" set together to obtain the same width front and back?

Re: Wheel Offsets
Yes. I'm using a 2" and a 1" on each side. The only reason I did this is because my first lift only required 1". When I upgraded to the long travel I needed 2 more inches. Otherwise I would have bought 3" spacers.
Be careful which ones you get. Mine are a real pain to work with, the stud holes are completely enclosed and not all sockets fit in the hole. Jakes has some that should be easy to work with, http://www.jakesliftkits.com/product.asp?sku=6293 |

Re: Wheel Offsets
Hey Ess, its a good time to replace those wire ties holding the brake lines to the axles and chassis. They only last so long.....

Re: Wheel Offsets
Those Brakes are gone. My company actually sells wire ties from various manufacturers. There is a BIG difference in quality from one to the other. The ones I use exclusively are made by Panduit
