Default Storage Covers ($50 or $175)

I am looking for a nice cover to store a tip top lifted gas cart with rear seats. I realize the cover may not include all the wheels, but want something that will protect the cart. I keep it under a roof, but it can be exposed to the elements from the sides. I see there are polyester covers like the Formosa that can be purchased for ~$50... and then there are the vinyl covers on the Jakes Lift site for $175 (plus $30 s&h).

Are the vinyl covers worth the price? I want to protect the cart as best I can... but have a hard time dropping $200 on a cover!

I have a Formosa on my cart and love it. It's light weight enough to get on the cart easily and keeps all of the dirt off.

I used to buy the lightweight ones and just toss and buy a new one when they wore out. One usually lasted almost a year and the cart wasn't under cover, just between the house and a block wall. Sun was the biggest enemy. Lightweight is so much easier to put on and take off.

good advice... this application should be in the shade due to the covered roof. was just worried about the quality since it could go ~4 months without me touching it... and I didn't want to have to think about it while I was away.

I just purchased a cover made by Champion on amazon.com for $49.99 shipped. I was skeptical of the quality for half the price of the other covers I had looked at but gave it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the package and put it on. It is very well constructed and fits great.
