Default Hmmm...

So how do I go about telling what type of lift (if name brand at all) I have?

I just bought a cart project, but it looks like a homemade lift job.

You could post a picture on here and maybe one of the other forum members could identify it.

Not sure what was done, but it looks like the springs were flipped as well as the blocks front and rear...

Looks like something that will get you hurt. Its definitely home made. The front springs arent flipped, they look bent ready to fold up under the cart. Not trying to be negative but don't let your kids drive it if you have any.

I have three, but the cart is not running. I plan on tearing it down and going from there.

The good news is I think I paid less for the cart than what the tires and rims are worth.

It has 26x9.5-10 Super Swamper Vampire tires that still have the small nubs on them. Not sure what the rims are though...

All I know is that they are 10 x 7.5

Any suggestions on a lift kit brand name? All I can find are kits that are for 1989 and newer carts. Will they fit on my '87?

I'm with roady on this. That front end looks sketchy at best. Looking for an aftermarket lift is a good plan, hope you can source one with out too much trouble.

No clue on brand as they all look about the same. But its a drop axle and lift blocks which is a bad combination. As roady said that front axle is ready to roll up under the cart and get someone hurt very badly. If you want to keep the height, get rid of the leafs and build a 4-link up front and use a coil over shock.
