Any one have a Jakes Roll Bar?

I think they call them an "Upper Brush Guard" for liability issues but I want to see some pics, other than the one listed her, so I can make a decision (the dern thing is $500.00 plus shipping).

I doubt mine is Jakes. But I am a big advocate of doing this upgrade if you want to load your cart like I do. When I bought the cart, the "brush guard" was a bolt together.... 4 legs & a roof structure, bolted together. I found it was noisy in all those joints while under way. So I removed the bolts & welded all the joints up. Then grinded the welds down smooth and painted it again. Most people would never notice it.
It is so much sturdier than the POS stock roof supports. I carry my 40 lb paddleboard on top or my 35 lb SkySki on a rack mounted on the side & then drive 25 - 30 mph to the lake all the time. The thing doesn't budge.

I don't know that it would save you in a full roll over. But I'm pretty sure it would keep the cart from rolling completely over in a slower speed crash. So I think any big block or cart capable of higher speeds should have one.
