front tires scrubbing
Just installed all sports 5" (ASM-E5NSG) lift kit on my 2002 EZ-GO gas TXT and the front tires are hitting the fender when I turn very sharp both ways. They say the kit is ok for my wheel/tire combo:23x10.5x12. What did I do wrong? Or how can I fix w/o trimming fenders?

Re: front tires scrubbing
Probably the easiest is to put a spacer btwn the rear of the front springs and the body.

Re: front tires scrubbing
Yea, I need to move the front end out some. Will I have to make these myself or are they out there?

Re: front tires scrubbing
Never did it myself, but some use a couple pieces of square steel tubing, it's not going to move the front end out any though, only lift it. don't know if they make longer springs, but that would be an alternative too.

Re: front tires scrubbing
I've got the All Sports 5" kit on my 96 E-Z-GO with 23" tires and they have never touched anywhere.

Re: front tires scrubbing
Yea, they make a "HIGH FIVE KIT" for the carts with old style steering colums which stretches out the wheel base. Couple of friends of mine have those and they have plenty of room but mine has the newer colum. Greengobblin lives down the road, says he has some spacers and longer bolts for the front. I'm going to try that. By the way, thanks for all the help. I really like this site. Pics will be up soon. Rusty, that is a very clean good looking cart! U 2 Bolt!

Re: front tires scrubbing
Will the front springs off of a say 2000 year model or older fit my cart? They seem to be longer than mine. I have not put a tape measure on them
