Yamaha g9 lifted/ torque issues
I am planning to install a jakes 6 inch lift on my 1993 g9 gas cart. I am putting 20x10x10 tires on it. Do I need to do anything to the cart for more torque. I will be using it for hunting, going through fields and maybe through some creek bottoms

Re: Yamaha g9 lifted/ torque issues
Technically any time you go with tires larger than stock you are going to lose some amount of torque. Obviously the taller you go the more you are going to lose. A 20 inch tire isn't all that tall and I would venture to say that your torque loss will be pretty minor.
Do you ride a lot of hills? I went to 23's on my Club Car and just riding it around my sub I didn't notice any real difference in low end performance. I went with a different belt to make some of that torque back up just for peace of mind and for any hills I came across while playing off road. |

Re: Yamaha g9 lifted/ torque issues
I won't be riding a lot of steep hills but a lot of people were telling me to get a clutch kit for better torque and I wanted more opinions
