Melex Cart Question
Hey guys, just picked up a melex cart for 200 dollars. Was thinking about fixing it up but ive come to find parts are hard to come by.
The guy i bought it from said a local shop said they could get lifts, wheels, tires etc. for it. But from my research it seems none of the other cart brands lifts will fit. Has anyone found anything that works for these carts? |

Re: Melex Cart Question
Durable carts, but some parts are getting harder to find. Brake drums and shoes are scarce. As far as lifting it, you can do it if you can weld and fabricate. Unless you can do it all yourself you should probably see if you can sell it to someone else and break even. Don't put too much money in an obsolete cart unless you plan on keeping it.

Re: Melex Cart Question
They are a copy of an ezgo. Nothing ezgo really fits but it's all really close and some of it can be made to work... as far as a lift you will have to make your own... I lifted my old Melex about 4 inches and put some tractor treads on the rear...
