Default 06 Club Car Precedent Tire Size

I have a 2006 Club Car Precedent with a 3 inch Jakes A-arm lift. It currently has 10" wheels on 22" tires. I am wanting to change to a 12" wheel and 23" tire combo. Looking at the front of the cart it seems that I will have enough room there but not quite in the rear. If i added heavy duty rear leaf springs will this give me enough clearance for the 23" tire? I know the leaf springs will not raise it much but im not sure if it will be enough to fit the combo i want. Loosing torque will not be an issue because i plan on upgrading the controller and possibly the motor.

I have the 12" wheel with a 23" tire on mine and have little issue with operability. I still have stock springs in the rear and can get the tires to rub occasionally taking off in a turn with four people on the cart. I haven't pulled the trigger on HD springs yet because I don't want to sacrifice ride quality. The few times that the tires have rubbed isn't really an issue for me.

1BDPRECEDENT,
Do you have a 6" lift or 3" lift? because mine is a 3" lift and i just dont know if i can get the clearence with the 3" lift, and if it comes to it I am just going to buy a 6" lift for it and just sale the 3" lift. I bought the cart with the lift already on it so i didnt get exactly what i was wanting but couldnt pass up the deal so it wont kill me to get the 6" lift I am just trying to find away around it first.

I have 6" of lift, that would make a big difference.

It is a little tight but we put our 23" RHOX Mohave II tires (on 12" wheels) on Precedents with 3" lift kits. As long as your bushings are good in the front end you should be ok. You could always consider selling the 3" lift with your current wheels and tires and just order a combo... come take a look, we can build a combo with whichever wheels/tires/lift you like!

Thanks for the help. I was thinking about buy slightly longer bushings in the front and maybe larger shackles for the back. would this be possible with maybe a few minor adjustments with the lift?

23x10.5x12 wheels/tires will fit with our 4" Double A-Arm on both the DS and Precedent models.

Jakes,
I have changed my mind on the 12" wheels and now decided to go with 14" wheels. If the 23"x10-12 tire/wheel combo will fit with the 4 inch double A-arm lift kit, the 23"x10-14 should also fit right?
