10" or 12" wheels
Other than looks, is there any reason to pay more for the 12" wheels over a set of 10"? I'm going with a 6" lift on a 36v CC DS and I'm more concerned with top speed than the bling bling look. I like the look of a 12", but which set will be lighter? Both would have the same brand of 22" tire. I'm ready to order so you advise is appreciated.

Re: 10" or 12" wheels
I'd say the choice is generally about looks. However, be aware that the smaller diam. wheel will give the tire more sidewall and possibly more roll on tight turns.
Typically a 10" wheel will give you a better ride quality on a 22" tire. The 12" wheel/tire will have less side wall. The difference in my opinion is not significant. |

Re: 10" or 12" wheels
Thanks, found a smokin' deal on a set of 12" Typhoon wheels w/ Sahara tires, so I pulled the trigger. They were actually $6 less than any of the 10" packages I found.
