Long travel EZGO RXV
I sold my TXT and need to build another fairly quick before hunting season. I am looking at a few RXV gas models in the $3k range - bone stock.
I would like to add a long travel independent front suspension on it but don't see anything from Jakes. I see this online - any idea who makes this? http://jngolfcarts.com/EZ-GO%206%20i...%20Travel.html Any reason i should go with the TXT for an offroad hunting buggy over the RXV? any advice would really be appreciated. |

That kit looks like an Allsports kit.

Re: Long travel EZGO RXV
I had an allsports kit on my 95 ezgo for one summer, I personally didn't care for it. By the end of the season,it started to make a clunk noise on the trails. It was a center load rack and had gotten some play in it. It drove very straight, rode ok. It had too much angle in the drive shaft to the rack which gave it a detent feel in the steering. At first I called allsports about the detent, they said they had not experienced that problem before and didn't have a solution for it. They offered me a refund and return for the kit,I declined and said I would try to solve it. I wasn't able to, so I pulled it and sold it. I built my own long travel for my car using the stock steering. I am not knocking allsports they were very good to talk and deal with. Their kits are very popular with clubcar and yamaha people, just wasn't for my 95 ezgo.

Re: Long travel EZGO RXV
Thats the old style long travel by allsports. check out my build thread on the new style. turning radius is equal to a stock cart. I'm running the 8" LT kit. They are awesome.
