93 EZGO Marathon upgrades
Hey everyone,
I was able to get 1993 Marathon for free from my parents. It's in really decent shape. Batteries don't work and had a bent front axle. Looking to add a 4 inch lift and new batteries. I was wanting to know how much I can look to spend for the upgrade and would it be better to change to 48 volt running the bigger tires. Thanks in advance. Greg Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Re: 93 EZGO Marathon upgrades
if you are lucky, you can get a lift for under $100 for a simple block lift. it all depends on what you want to do. it can go up from there.
then there are tires, and wheels. steel wheels with offset will run easily over $100 for a set. Tires will cost $200 and go up from there. I cant answer the electrical aspect. you may be able to dig around and find some of them items used, therefore cheaper. once again it all depends on what you want to do. check site sponsors, dig around on teh site, and youll find what you want and or need. i hear all the time that these are money pits. Mine still doesn't run and im into it well over a grand. good luck and welcome to the forum. you should go introduce yourself in the introductions area. |

Re: 93 EZGO Marathon upgrades
You will need Offset-rims.The stock wheels are centered, the tires will rub.You can stay with 8" if you want, just need offsets, which are under $20 each in steel. If you are lifting it and need an axle, order a "Dropped-Axle",That will give you your lift, and a new axle at the same time.
