1" should be fine,alot of the offset wheels are 1" offset.

what does the 3/4 inch offset equal I have not seen a full 1 inch quoted offset wheel that I know of

A 3-4 offset is 3" x 4" on a 7"wide wheel(1/2"-offset outboard).The outer half of the wheel is 4" to the center,the inner is 3" to the center.Stock wheels are 3-1/2" x 3-1/2".I prefer the 5" x 2" offset.Its' a 1-1/2" offset from stock.Hope this helps.
