Choosing new front shocks with a lift kit
I have a 1992 Club Car DS that I am lifting. The kit is a Jake's 6 inch Double A arm, and I am also adding HD rear springs (probably with one spring removed to minimize a harsh ride).
A search on BGW shows that the Monroe 32126 (or equivalent) rear shock is being used, and works with no modification. All of the next specs comply with the Monroe pdf file found in the 'Stickies'. For the front shocks, mine have a loop style for both ends. The compressed stroke is 8 1/4 inches and extended stroke is 10 1/2 inches. I am thinking that I need the 32118 shock. Can someone confirm this, or enlighten me further? |
