Default To swap a rearend or not, this is the question

2004 ST 480 with a jakes lift running 24x12x12 tires. The rearend I have in the cart has the diff lock feature, but nobody makes gears for this rear end. My other option is to remove that rearend and replace with standard ezgo rear end and get gears? What would you do?

How fast do you need to go? How about larger tires, though speed increase is likely to not be that much. I would love to have a locker rear for sure, especially with the clone I just put in. It will spin the tires so I know it will be more of a problem.

I'm not sure how fast I want to go but 20 just isn't doing it for me any more. I picked up the doner cart today ant the rear axle is in tact but the driven clutch is not there, and it's a tapered shaft instead of a splined shaft. So my clutch won't work with it. But everything else was there. I'm going to take the body panels and paint them for my cart and keep some of the other nice little things it has like tail light, new fender flairs, horn, side rocket panels, just to name a few.

I'm guessing I will just have to build the motor to get my speed.

Need to find a parts break down for that diff. I think the gears are the same.
