Yamaha G22 Build
I just picked up a Yamaha G22 gas. I just picked up the wheels and tires today. Jake's Long Travel should be here Friday, in time to put it on this weekend.
Long Travel 12" wheels and 23'' tires Radio Paint or Wrap (not sure yet) Possibly some Plowman's upgrades I have been an Ez Go guy for a while but I drove this Yammi and was quite impressed. It has significant more power than my previous gas ezgos. Still an Ez Go fan but I figured I would try out a yamaha. |

Re: Yamaha G22 Build
Yamis' definitely are more torquey than Ez-Gos.My wife has a G16,and I was very impressed when we got it.I drove a few 4-stroke Ez-Gos' that I worked on for people, and not near as much power.

Re: Yamaha G22 Build
one more day til long travel gets here! How tough is the install? Is it a pain to get camber and alignment set correctly? I have put lifts on trucks before. i am not worried about putting it on, just getting everything aligned and riding correct. Any help is appreciated.

Re: Yamaha G22 Build
The lift is on after several hours. FYI, the instructions suck! But I managed to figure it all out. I will post pics in the morning. Just got done at 12:30 in the a.m. I didn't think it would take that long but I had to take it apart several times.

Re: Yamaha G22 Build
When I got my lift they had adjustable shock, but the bushings were bad after a few months . Jakes replace my shocks ,but it was a standard height shock like you have. Mine was stiff also for a month or 2. They will limber up, it just takes a lil time....
