Club Car, Hunting Cart Parts Suggestion?
Hey Guys,
I'm new here and need some advice! I have a CC, DS not sure of the year, I'll check when I get home tonight. We use it in the neighborhood mostly but is AWESOME for deer hunting except for a few problems. I purchased it lifted with a junk body but it had a plum quick motor, altrax controller, HD rear suspension and everything was messed up on it. Its like someone did not read the installation directions Anyway, I have it working now but the lift is pretty high and It rides really badly off road.....even on a smooth road. I would like to make it ride smoother. Make suggestions as I'm not opposed to changing out the front suspension if it will improve the ride. The rear suspension is so high that the brake cables didn't reach so I added and alum. angle filed down to correct it. But its still just not right. Every now and then the brakes lock when just slightly applied and the entire rear end torques a little. I added auto shocks in the back because the ones that the guy installed in the lift didnt reach....so they were only attached at one end. Another detail, when we loaded it on the trailer the bump up caused everything to go dead and the charger does not even work. I assume its the f/R switch as it is a little loose feeling. All the battery connections seem good though. Would photos help? Thanks in advance for suggestions! JB |

F&R switch, I'm guessing this needs an upgrade?

Re: Club Car, Hunting Cart Parts Suggestion?
I picked up an inexpensive winch to load stuff on my trailer. I just welded it on a hitch receiver mount so that I can adapt it to work with the cart!
I have not really come up with an idea on how to put a received on he front of he cart though. It looks like the jakes long travel has one included. Thanks in advance for any suggestions guys! |

My cart is a 97 according to the serial #
I put a gas body on it that I had from a cart I bought years ago and converted to a woody to take guests to the beach. |

JBALABAMA,
I think that f&r is looking pretty good also your battery cables look good. I've got your same lift kit and its OK. Why do you want a long travel? Steve |
