Bent rear leaf spring after lift kit install
So who here has bent a leaf spring before? I mean is it a common thing?
I went with a Allsport long travel and it uses the stock rear spring and a block and you put the spring over the axle. for 6 inches of lift. 650 alltrax and custom d&d motor made a pretzel out of the rear leafs the first time I punched the gas!! So now I need to decide if I want to just put a heavy duty rear leaf in or fab my own rear long travel??? Hmmm Prob just put a heavy duty in it for now and work on the long travel when I get the time that way the cart stays usable.. LOVE this south Texas weather where we can use carts year round!! Wheels are 14x7 Dominators that I sanded down and coated them with Truck bed liner.. Should be pretty durable..Tires are 23x10x14 |

Not bent but can see the axle roll front to back from motor torque.

Wow! I've never seen that! That engine must have some serious torque. Really nice looking cart! I think the 3 link type rears look pretty trick and prob ride alot better too. But it'd be really easy for now to just get the two leafs. I can't imagine bending two?

Re: Bent rear leaf spring after lift kit install
Just ordered springs from everythingcarts. They took good care of my wheel and tire purchase so they get my return business..
I have a pair of coil overs I want to use when I build the rear but they are quite long and I dont know if I can get them to work or not. might have to buy a set.. |
