Default Am I getting Gouged on Price

Hey guys ,hope everyone had a great Xmas ,and Santa was good to you !
Need to pick your collective brains here a bit , I'm running at 2008. TXT Ezgo lifted with a 4inch (not a jackes ) lift on 22 inch tires 10 inch rim
With 4guage cables and 08 Trojans t105 -36 volt , stock controller and motor .
I usually just run the roads at my cottage , but there is a great ATV trail system
Behind my cottage (actually a snowmobile trail) that I like to go on during the warmer months of the year ! ( 2weeks in Aug. lol) with the lift I have on it now
The ride off road is pretty bouncy (like a rag doll ) I am also a advid hunter in the fall and was thinking of converting to a hunting buggie the cart is a PDS style
I'm leaning to-wards a Jakes long travel kit 6 inch( deluxe version with skid plate etc ) the problem is my cart guy is charging me approx$1,400.00 for the kit with my 4 inch lift as trade (he is only offering $125.00 for my spindle lift )
That does not include installation , although all the shipping , brokerage etc is included to get across border etc the Question is : is that price about right or am I getting gouged ? , sorry have no pics yet ! I appreciate all answers , and comments , also is there another route other then long travel for off road for smooth ride
Cheers !

He's buying two of those lifts, one for himself and one for you at that price. Why don't you contact Jakes directly? Don't understand why they couldn't ship direct to you. Then tell that guy to screw himself.

Hard to say without knowing about the charges to import the item into Canada. Did he itemize the charges in the quote?

I'm getting a itemized quote today , thanks for your response , so it sounds like I'm getting screwed the one on the jakes web-site I think was around $1,100.00 I do know it can be costly to get items across the border is there any
Site sponsors that have shipped into Canada (Ontario ) ?

I was very satisfied with my Jakes long travel. After it was installed, I asked myself why I didn't do this sooner. Great ride.
