Jakes 6" double a-arm lift.
Looking at the 6" jakes double a arm lift for my 91 ds. It says it requires 10" rims but nothing about offset rims. I have 8" x7 rims now offset 3:4. Just wondering if they would work. Don't wanna have to buy new wheels and tires Aswell.

It will work. I have same the same set up.
My tires are 22x11x8. Wheels are 8" with offset no spacers. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1358275699.161726.jpg |

Re: Jakes 6" double a-arm lift.
Figured as much. Had the sales person on their help line telling me no had to have 10" wheels but they have a great deal on combo kits blah blah blah. Broke the spindle on my old 6" buggies unlimited aarm lift an am having trouble getting the spindle by itself so I'm thinking this second go around getting the better kit which individual parts are available for.

Re: Jakes 6" double a-arm lift.
We recommend a minimum of 10" wheels on all of our lift kits for stability. Some of the lift kits will allow you to install 8" wheels but we do not recommend it because of the large amount of sidewall.

Re: Jakes 6" double a-arm lift.
It says requires 10" wheel doesn't list as we recommend. Makes since about the stability but the offset rims put the stance a little wider and more stable also. That being said does your 6" double a-arm kit for the ds carts "allow" it to be used with 8" offset rims? Kind of dodged the question.

I don't think tipping over would be an issue. Look at how wide it rides with the offset wheels. |

Yes, the stock wheels will fit but again we do not recommend it for safety reasons.
