Default turning problem with jakes lift

I have a 05 ezgo workhorse 1200. I used the drop axle lift kit from Jakes. My problem is now it has limited steering to the right. At first it would not steer much at all, mabe 20%. I took steering tie-rod and screwed the end all the way in with no more adjustment. This gave me now about 35%.

Steering to the left is fine if not more than usual.

I have looked and can not find a solution on this site. Any help would be awesome.

Well as a start you need to find out if your steering is centered and the toe in is correct. Turn the steering wheel all the way to the right, now counting turns all the way to the left. Come back half way to center. If you drive cart, does it go straight ? If not, adjust the tie rods until it does. Now once you get it straight, mark a spot on the front of the front tires half way up from the floor centered on the hub. Measure between right and left, now roll the cart half a wheel revolution until the marks are on the back center of the tires. Measure again, the rear mark should be 1/8-1/4 inch greater than the front.

toe in is perfect at 1/8 in. From the tires set perfect strait i have 1 1/4 turns right and 1 3/4 turns left from center. Almost looks like my steering tie rod is too long. I have tightend the steering tie rod on the far right untill there is no threads left to tighten. seems like i need another inch taken up but i have no more adjustments.

The cart drives perfectly strait. just will not turn to the right enough.

Well, one problem we had was the spindles were hitting the front axle in the C's that hold the spindles. I called Jakes and they told me it was a safety feature to keep someone from turning the wheel to far to one side and causing the cart to flip.. Uh, I would think that if you had any speed and turned the wheel more than one rotation, it is going over.. It was my brother's cart and he wanted his turning radius back.. Excess material removed and good to go..

I don't know about the '05, but my '93 has another adjustable joint coming out of the steering box.
Between the two adjustments, you can equalize the number of turns left/right.

not tuching anything on right or left when i steer max travel. Ill check under the dust guard on the side of the steering box to see if there is another adjustable joint.

I just checked the workhorse manual. You will find the adjustment under the dust cover on the steering box.
Count the steering wheel turns from full left to full right, center the steering wheel using this number, then adjust the two joints to put the wheels straight.

When you say dust cover, do you mean the black rubber that covers the shaft? Or do you mean the plate on the bottom of the metal assembly itself?

I did find an adjustment on the shaft but its also almost maxed out. I was going to max it out but can't get it to budge. I don't want to strip the screwdriver inside so I didn't force it.

It's under the rubber bellows cover on the right side of the steering box if you are sitting on the cart. You'll see a shaft going from there to the vertical steering shaft.
