if you could relocate the top of the shocks inward that would help for a softer ride

Looks like you might be able to move the upper to this area pretty easily. But you may gain some ride height. You can adjust those shocks a little...but not much. Right now you have them at their heaviest setting. I wouldn't remove the existing shock mounts just yet, make some new ones.

i have tried relocated the shocks inward more but it doesnt seem to make the suspension softer and it throws off the alignment

this is what it looked like with the shocks moved in but it made lil differnce on the suspension being softer, any ideas of maybe a differnt shock/spring setup to soften it up

I can get you the Progressive 16" dual rate shocks. They would be a good fit for it. (they are the same shocks that come with the Strech Plastics long travel front end). I can get you the 425 as well. They are the latest addition to their off-road coilover shocks.

Allsports has an adjustable coil over you can use as well. I think the All Sports Coil Over might be cheaper than the stretch.

Strech doesn't make their coilover shocks. they use Progressive Suspensions shocks.

The 425 is a new shock - infinate adjustment about $325each.

You may want to check the spring weight and see if a lighter spring is available for the application. The design of the shock you have allows for rebound adjustment and not compression like a nitrogen charged shock. If I were you I would try and research what the stock spring rate is on the ATV you mention and then see what lower spring rates are available. This would save some money.
