Default All Sport Kits

What is the difference between an All Sport 6" A-Arm Lift Kit Vs. Super Sport Lift Kit? In addition, do either kits come with HD rear Springs or do you need to order those separately?

Allsports makes the Super Sport lift (?). I didn't know there was a difference. One my SS lift I did not get HD springs, they're not part of the kit. I don't know if I want them anyway, I like the way my cart rides right now and I don't have a seat on the back. I worry that HD springs will sacrifice ride quality.

The super sport kit has adjustable upper and lower camber and has a more heavy duty design using a 5/8 tube design. I do believe it widens the wheelbase more than the standard a-arm kit. I don't think allsports kits come with heavy duty rear leafs but other kits on trademark carts have a-arm kits that include HD leafs

It definitely increases the wheelbase. My front wheels are set about 5-6" more forward than they did with stock suspension.

You are right, Allsports makes the super sport lift kits and the Allsport A-arm kits. There is a difference between the two though.

That is correct.

Super Sport A-Arm lift -- This is the tubular A-arm lift. Has adjustable camber, lengthens wheel base by 3 inches (to allow larger tires to clear), costs more than the All Sport A-arm lift.

All Sport A-Arm lift -- This is the standard A-arm lift. The A-arms are boxed and not tubular. It has adjustable camber as well but I believe the adjustability isn't as ample as with the Super Sport lift, lengthens wheel base (to allow for larger tires to clear).

As for the heavy duty rear springs All Sports doesn't include them with their kits. When I was shopping for my lift I saw that some of the chinesse made lifts included heavy duty rear springs in the kit.

I have the Super Sport 6" kit on my DS and love it. Looks good, functions great and was a piece of cake to install.

^^^

I did not put the heavy duty springs on mine. I don't have a rear seat nor do I plan on running one anytime in the near future so I didn't upgrade my rear springs.

Many will tell you that if you aren't running a rear seat you may want to avoid the heavy rear springs. They will make the ride very harsh if you don't have added weight over the rear end. If your springs are sacked out and you want to put in new ones some places (can't remember where off the top of my head) offer a medium duty spring if I remember right. Sort of gives you the best of both worlds, the improved ability over stock without sacrificing as much of the ride quality.

That's what I figured. 90% of the time it will be me and one other passenger, so I'm sticking with the stock springs.

i run the heavy duty springs, and they are stiff!!!!!
i peak and tweak the cart alot, weather running through ditchs or off the top of sand dunes and have not bent these like i did the old ones.....

lowered the pressure on my tires, that helped a lot, gave it a much smoother ride
