Default 27" upgrade

I'm looking to upgrade my tires to a set of 27" tires but I haven't been able to find a tire that fits my wheel. My current rim is a 12x8 with 3x5 offset, does anybody know of a 27" that will fit this wheel?

Thanks guys!

I don't think that will help him. Third from the bottom is for a 12" wheel and he has 8's ("and he keeps them real clean"). Sorry that is a quote from some stupid movie.

Most likely you will have to go to a bigger wheel like a 10" or 12". A 27" tall tire on an eight inch wheel would be unstable. It would be like riding on balloons. I had 22's on an 8" and they bounced down the road and the really leaned when I turned. I went to 23's on 10's and I really like the ride much better.

If you go to all the trouble to buy new rims get 12", there are more tire options and they fit over hubs better when lifting.

12x8 would typically mean 12" diameter x 8" wide.

I got hung up on that "8", there should be quite a few choices for this rim I would think.

Yep, 12 inch wheels not 8 inch. The 12x12x27 will fit the 8 inch width?

Thanks for the replies.
