Default Cart to build. Pics

Ok guys, as some of you know, I have been researching an awesome build for the past couple years and it is all starting to come together now... Here are a few pics of the G2 I bought for $50. However, I don't have the cart yet, I gave him the $50 but, there is a 3 foot drift between his buildings and he can't get the forktruck to the back to move the other carts in the way. He will give me a call Monday or Tuesday. When I was out there, I took a few pics. This cart has no motor. As I start to disassemble, to start the build, I will post the items for sale that I am not using or won't use... I know she is a real beauty!! Let me know what you guys think!

Here is a pic of the long travel arms I am thinking about using... I will rip the whole stock subframe out and rebuild a new one with rack and pinion steering, new front shock mounts to accomodate the new coilover shocks and these arms! Maybe... I may just go the route of building some "one-off" arms. Like I say, still in the thinking stage...

Yup! Can't go wrong with a cart for $50 with no engine... I'm going to be ripping the stock one out anyway and putting in the engine from the donor bike!

Ok things to know/check on a G2. Check the cross member where the swing arm attaches they are known to get cracks around the mounts letting in moisture which leads to some nasty rusting where that cross member meets the frame. Second the Yamaha solinoid is a fantastic unit but VERY expensive to replace and an EZGO one will pretty much bolt right in. That's if you need the solinoid at all. And Thirdly if you use 4x6 speakers you can cut them into the sides of the cup holder mount and install either a deck or an amp for tunes. It's a great location and it worked perfectly on my G2. I have the deck mounted up on the roof in a box I built. G2/G9's are my favorite carts for tons of reasons. I have 3 of them now. Can't wait to see the build up it's going to be awesome.

For the Solenoid,I use Snow-Plow/Lift-Gate Solenoids. They are under $25 and work great.Killer find on the cart!

Yes it is! After all welding and fabbing the frame will be blasted and Powder Coated! Not sure of a color... Maybe just black.
