Body lift?
Has anyone ever done one? They've come a long way in the truck world and was just wondering if any has tried incorporating their build along with a suspension lift. I ask because it seems like the body is more of a restriction than anything else when going with bigger wheels. This probably wouldn't work for hardcore off road guys that hit the trails often but would it work for someone who just liked the look and idea of a lifted cart? Hope this doesn't cause a bad spark, i'm just asking because I like to get educated on things.

Re: Body lift?
I'm not 100% sure but I think my cart may have a small one incorporated in to the Limo stretch. This was done by one of the previous owners, and i don't plan on changing it because if that's what is going on, it seems to have been done well.

Re: Body lift?
Thanks. I've started reading your thread several times but have yet to finish it. I guess I have to learn more about modifying them before I can completely understand the details in builds like yours.

Re: Body lift?
Anything is possible, but this might be a task you don't want to try. There are numerous differences between trucks and carts, especially with body mounting locations. Truck body lifts are simple to install, but with a cart you might find the task not worth the hassle. You must consider the cart type, the factory mounting locations, accessories installed or future installs, and the wiring harness. Unless you want to win the ugliest cart competition you would likely only gain 1 or 2 inches. You would be best served to research suspension kits and choose the system that suits your needs the best. If you only want to run larger tires on the street you might want to stick with tires in the 22 or 23 inch range. Wide tires will also help with stability, or you can add wheel spacers.
