Strech plastics lift still available?
Hey guys, I am seriously kicking around the idea of a long travel since the addition of the HD springs up front beat the heck outta me and grandkids! Is the strech plastics kit still available? Looks like an awesome LT kit to me and I dd read some posts on here where folks had some issues with the Jake's i believe the J plate was bending and causing some shock problems.
Thanks in advance guys! |

Re: Strech plastics lift still available?
There may be a few left in the poor chrome finish. The one on my gasser rusted up the first rain season. Great suspension, though.

LOL darn i was hoping you were gonna tell me you could get your hands on one!! And i thought the st-up looks like a great design and if i get one maybe I should just go ahead and de-chrome it before installing.
thanks for your input scotty! |

Re: Strech plastics lift still available?
I haven't heard about the problems with Jakes LT kits. Is it something a lot of people are having problems with? I've seen the kits you're talking about in older threads but I figured they were discontinued.

Re: Strech plastics lift still available?
The probelms I saw may have been in some older threads and I believe that Jake's has corrected the problem I certainly didn't mean to throw them under the bus. The strech kit just looks better to me, just my opinion. Jake's is a sponsor here and I do not want them to think I'm bad mouthing. I can tell ya if somebody threw either kit at me I would install it! LOL

Looks like still available in the 94-00 model years for EzGo. If you don't like the chrome, you can always have it blasted and powder coated the color of your choice
