First on the list is something that would keep the right side from leaning. Should I get new springs? They look fine but, I lean to the drivers side.
Some thoughts on where to go next. I took the shocks off front and back and I think I need to shore up the springs before installing a new shock, right?

Any other ideas form what you guys can see?

One more thing, I am getting the OEM motor rewound. Can anyone tell from this picture about the gears? Is there a bearing there I should replace too?

There's a bearing behind the input shaft. If it isn't noisy, I wouldn't worry about it though.

Took the rear end off so I can get it to our local cart shop. Same guys I bought the cart from. Plan on changing the bearing and getting the lower end looked at, I do have a whine.

Also took the front springs and wheel hubs off. front bearing had been changed it appears.


Big day. Sawzall was my best friend today. 19 year old bolts

I am thinking about the steering. It feels to me as if the knuckle is loose. Maybe that explains the front jumping about while iam underway. One of our members suggested that it could be bad. But can you just change the knuckle or do I have to get a whole new steering unit?

If anyone sees anything else or has a suggestion let me know, please

The best way I know to troubleshoot steering problems is to watch underneath while someone else plays with the steering wheel.

AT least I know the bearings are good and the spindles are not worn. I hate to replace the whole steering mechanism ist costly. I found the worn gear and boot, but not the knuckle bolt (if thats what its called). Still looking..

Been busy this morning. Sanded, primed. looking forward to my stencils gettiing here so I can paint.

Started out the day going to local cart shop with my rear end and motor. Getting new wheel bearings and a refreshing of the 1995 motor. Brushes etc.

Great fun walking about a large cart shop. Learned some stuff and talked with the owner Scott about my rebuild.

Ordered some HD springs,new bushings and bolts,OEM running board,replacement riviets (of which there are numerous sizes),shocks (17" Throw extended). That should send the wife into orbit.

I chipped and rust converted the body yesterday so today I truckbed liner painted it, If you use that stuff make sure your area is vented (and wear a mask) WOW its potent.

Painted the fenders with the new plastic paint, first time using it.

Scot told me I could get a job, the hardest part is tearing it down. I think it will be putting it back together with all the parts LOL

My local scrap yard find 20$. I had thought I would have to do without the lower plastic cowl ,even has a decent EZ logo



Just need some 220 touch up on the primer and I am ready for the camo pattern



Painted the plastic wheel wells with new plastic spray paint. First time ever using that stuff, works good. Might even touch up a few deer stand chairs...

Scotty, when u look in, is it possible from this picture to tell how old this controller is? Sorry ist so out of focus. I am camera challenged!!
