Default g14 lift installed now questions

I installed a jakes 7in double a arm lift and am not liking the angle of the rear swing arm. It just looks wrong. So is it as simple as removing the front pivot bolt and fabricating a longer mount off the frame to drop the front of the swing arm down? Can I reroute the right brake cable over the starter/gen to make it still reach? I dont want to go with a 3 link. Sorry if the question has been asked everything I saw included a 3 link setup.

Thanks

Some pics would help to give ideas on where there are interference-issues.The front-mount will need to be modified, its' not really designed to support the weight hanging from it,the cradle sits on top of it in the stock-setup.You could cut the bracket off the frame and drop it,or cut the swing-arm bracket off,and raise it,when you lower the swing-arm.Hope this helps.

A lot of people do that with their carts of many brands, they drop the mount or raise it on the cradle. Usually its ok with a normal lift to angle the engine some but with a high (LT) lift it gets excessive. Often it works to move the cradle/swing-arm back an inch or two, but you have to check interference with the bumper/etc. Most don't lower it all the way level as a little angle gives you more ground clearance. Yes brake cables can be an issue, some carts you one side is longer you can get one to use on the short side.

I found on the Ez-Gos' that lowering the front of the swing-arm half the height of your lift total helps alot.
