Tire question
Has anyone ever seen or have any pics of a 6" lifted cart with 205x30-14 street tires on them. I'm just curious of how it would look.

Re: Tire question
A 205/30-14 tire is just over 18" tall just like stock cart tires. It would look silly with a 6" lift IMO.

Re: Tire question
I read somewhere that the 205/30-14 was almost 21" tall. I could be wrong though. I'm just looking for a street tire for 14" wheels that will not look odd on a 6" lifted cart and can't seem to find any anywhere. I can find 23" tires for 12" wheels but none for the 14" wheels.

Re: Tire question
I've looked everywhere and can't find a 22" or 23" street tire for 14" wheels. So i guess this means I may have to go with 12" wheels with maybe the 23" EFX Fusion street tire.

Re: Tire question
Try car tires. 185/65r14 is a standard size and is 23.4" tall. Here's a link to types available.

Re: Tire question
thanks alot sportcoupe I didnt think about that. I may go with the 185/60-14 which is the 22.7" tire, but it says that the tire is 7.4" wide with a 5.5" wide wheel. I would be putting 6.5" wide wheels on them which would make the overall width of the tire approximately 7.8" when mounted. Do you think this would be too narrow of a tire? If you start looking at the wider tires they get a little pricey but i like the price of the 185/60-14 tires.

I'd like to find some people who have used these and see how they're holding up for them. Can't find many reviews out there and they are pricey. |

Re: Tire question
excel street fox tires are kind of new on the market but they are great, and they are available in a 23/10/14 which is perfect for a 6" lift like I'm running. They ride great on the street.

Re: Tire question
I'm running a 6" long travel lift front and rear so it gives you an idea how the cart looks with the Excel street tires, but if you want to go with automotive tires here are some specs to keep you as close as possible to 23" tall tires. I went with the excel version because I'm running 9" wide wheels and wanted extremely wide tires, and the excels fit the bill perfectly.
Golf cart tires 260/45/14 for metric tires Or 23"/10"/14" for standard To achieve a 10" wide tire All of these are close to a 23" tall tire but different widths, they will all fit fine on standard golf cart 6-7" wide 175/65/14 similar but thinner 195/60/14 wider 215/55/14 wider yet |

I have the exact same wheels as airbagged on my Txt with jakes long travel lifted, with 14" rims. Best tires I have ever run, smooth and super quiet. Best run at max 20 lbs.
