Default Finally finished

Just finished my first build. G16. Jakes 6" A-arm lift, Barracuda SS 12x23" wheels, custom paint, light package, etc. Chopped the seat bracket, was going to chop the top, but decided to hold off for now.

Some maintenance items I ended up repairing include: New pitman arm for the steering, new king pins, new wheel bearings, lots of sanding/touch up paint.

Built this specifically to haul my Dad around in Indy next week at Mecum auction, so I'm looking forward to that.

Very nice! Did you do the paint yourself or bring it to a shop? Looks flawless

Thanks a lot guys. I was torn on what to do with the body. It was pretty beat up, no cracks though. I priced a cart shop up by Chicago, but too far to drive. I was going to do it myself, but the materials alone were going to cost over $100. I ended up taking it to a body shop that I've known for years. They did an incredible job with it. Although, they haven't billed me yet. He said he'd take care of me, so we'll see what his idea is of that ;)

One regret, I wish I'd of had them fill in the holes where the fender padding went. Oh well, I ended up buying some cool black chrome hole filler plugs at Big R.
