Yamaha G1 lift pics needed
i want to see what excatly is needed for a lift for my G1 I work at a welding fab shop but do not have a starting point, any pics of what was installed to lift cart would be awesome thanks

I'll get some pics for ya'. The plates that you fab up will bolt to where the front end is bolted to now. Then the frontend is bolted to the plates. You will have to fab up some shock extensions for the rear. You can use 400ex shocks. They are approx 17" eye to eye and work good with a 6" lift.

Slo, the lift is 6" and 2" wider than stock. In the rear I'm running 400ex shocks and made shock extensions that are welded to the original shock mounts at the top. Since I'm running a G2 rearend I had to put 1" spacers between the swingarm and rearend so I would have clearence for the driven clutch.
