Default Need Another 1-2" of Lift

Any ideas on how I can gain at least another 1" of lift (prefer 2") on the front end? My new 24x12x10 tires just dont look right with only 6".. This picture has my old 22x11's on it..

My fronts are real close so I just ordered some 1" spacers for all 4 tires to keep it even. The backs had plenty of clearance though. I tried to find a rim with more backspacing but didnt have much luck in my price range, even if I factored in the price of the spacers..

The wheels spaced out will really look good. Are you still looking to gain some lift then? I'm not sure how you can do it.

I agree and think it would look even better with an additional 2" of lift.. Once I get the stance and drive train look I want, then I will be working on the body, bumpers, etc.. After that I will be doing a motor upgrade.

Cuz,
I have the same issue with my 01 CCDS, I've heard a heavy duty front spring helps...but it looks like you already have one. What about building a spacer plate b/t the leaf and the chasis, I think someone sells them as extension plates, but you could make it thicker. I'll look around...I saw it somewhere in this forum. Good Luck.

I was just thinking that exact same thing.
The only problem I see is that by putting a spacer there, I will be limited to using a 1" block because it will also move the connecting tie rod bar closer to the frame and its only about 2" away right now (you can see that in the first photo at the top of this thread).. Ya might not have that problem with the newer rack & pinion steering boxes but I have the older style on this 83 model. Let me know what you find.

Edit: I think I found them but it says it adds 2" to the wheel base, which I believe is the width and not height.

2" Extension Plate

Thanks

Installed my new wheel spacers and now get a mild rub when I hit a bump at full steering lock so I have no choice but to lift the cart at least another 1.5"

I just posted a wanted ad in the parts section for some aluminum blocks. If anyone can cut me some, please let me know (1.5" x 1.75" x 4" long)

Thanks
